Our Scottish Day

On Thursday, December 7th it was the Scottish Day in our school. It was a happy day because a lot of pupils went to school wearing a school uniform. We wore a tie, a white shirt, a black jacket, black shoes and black trousers or a black skirt. In Kinross High School, the school tie is purple, green and yellow. The pupils looked amazing !

For lunch, we ate coleslaw, beef stew with peas and carrots. For dessert, we could choose between the pear crumble or the apple crumble with mint custard. It was delicious ! But we prefer fish and chips to beef stew !

While we were having lunch, we watched the slideshow about the Scottish exchange. It was funny to see pictures of our school trip.

There was a Scottish emoji contest. After the meal, we could vote for the best Scottish emoji made by pupils of 6è, 5è and 4è. There were a lot of emojis. Emojis number 10,20 and 1 won the contest ; they will soon get prizes !

Finally, in the school library, you can see posters that we made during three periods after our trip to Scotland. They are about Scotland and Mrs Lajoie and Mrs Goron prepared a quiz for pupils of 6è and 5è.

It was a very nice day !
